2024年7月13日-16日，由蕭建集團(tuán)子公司杭州沃爾德園植科技開(kāi)發(fā)有限公司承辦的2024Cultivate“中國(guó)園藝植物展”活動(dòng)在美國(guó)哥倫布市順利舉辦。

From July 13 to 16, 2024, the 2024Cultivate "China Horticultural Plant Exhibition" organized by Hangzhou Wald Horticulture Plant Technology Development Co., Ltd. (Wald), a subsidiary of Zhejiang Xiaojian Group Co., Ltd. (Xiaojian Group), was successfully held in Columbus, USA.

本活動(dòng)由優(yōu)良植物新品種國(guó)家創(chuàng)新聯(lián)盟擔(dān)任主辦方，本次植物展，主辦方和承辦方共征集到26家企事業(yè)104個(gè)品種以展板、畫(huà)冊(cè)、視頻的形式參加2024Cultivate“中國(guó)園藝植物展”。

This activity is sponsored by the National Innovation Alliance for New and Superior Plant Varieties. In this plant exhibition, the sponsor and the organizer have collected 104 varieties from 26 enterprises to participate in 2024Cultivate "China Horticultural Plant Exhibition" in the form of exhibition boards, albums and videos.

2024Cultivate“中國(guó)園藝植物展”展會(huì)前夕，優(yōu)良植物新品種國(guó)家創(chuàng)新聯(lián)盟帶隊(duì)拜訪(fǎng)了美國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)部新品辦（USDA）并開(kāi)展座談交流，座談會(huì)期間，參會(huì)人員與國(guó)內(nèi)聯(lián)盟主要領(lǐng)導(dǎo)進(jìn)行了視頻會(huì)議。

On the eve of the 2024Cultivate "China Horticultural Plant Exhibition", the National Innovation Alliance for New Varieties of Excellent Plants led a team to visit the New Varieties Office of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and held a discussion. During the symposium, the participants held a video conference with the main leaders of the domestic alliance.

USDA美國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)部新品辦Jeffery一行三人到訪(fǎng)展位，仔細(xì)瀏覽了展會(huì)上展示的新品種圖冊(cè)和展板。這是繼聯(lián)盟11日上午拜訪(fǎng)美國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)部后，與美國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)部新品辦開(kāi)展的第二次友好交流。

Jeffery and his colleagues of three from the New Varieties Office of USDA visited the booth and carefully browsed the new varieties catalogue and exhibition boards displayed at the exhibition. This was the second friendly exchange with New Varieties Office of USDA after the Alliance visited USDA on the morning of 11th.

北卡羅萊納州立大學(xué)John Nix團(tuán)隊(duì)到訪(fǎng)交流，在展位駐足良久，John Nix團(tuán)隊(duì)人員對(duì)展會(huì)上展示的新品種育種過(guò)程特別感興趣，就中國(guó)原生種質(zhì)資源和育種發(fā)展，如類(lèi)似景寧玉蘭等種質(zhì)資源進(jìn)行了深度的交流。

John Nix team from North Carolina State University visited and communicated with each other for a long time. John Nix team members were particularly interested in the breeding process of new varieties displayed at the exhibition, and conducted in-depth exchanges on Chinese native germplasm resources and breeding development, such as germplasm resources like Magnolia sinostellata.

Terra Nova® Nurseries資深專(zhuān)家Dan Heims對(duì)來(lái)自中國(guó)的品種表現(xiàn)出了濃厚的興趣，雙方就如何簽訂互種協(xié)議的合作模式進(jìn)行了深度的討論。

      Dan Heims, a senior expert on Terra Nova® Nurseries, showed keen interest in the varieties from China, and had an in depth discussion on how to sign a cooperative model for a mutual planting agreements.

2023年1月，沃爾德組織國(guó)內(nèi)99個(gè)植物新品種（種）出國(guó)門(mén)參加在德國(guó)舉辦的埃森花展；2024年7月，沃爾德又一次組織國(guó)內(nèi)植物新品種走出國(guó)門(mén)參加在美國(guó)俄亥俄州哥倫布市舉辦的Cultivate2024展會(huì)。通過(guò)展會(huì)上與國(guó)外行業(yè)人士面對(duì)面的交流，可以明顯感受到歐洲市場(chǎng)和北美市場(chǎng)在品種興趣點(diǎn)上的差異，也能感受到國(guó)內(nèi)育種成果和國(guó)際市場(chǎng)成熟商品種的差距以及發(fā)展的巨大潛力。作為國(guó)內(nèi)外持續(xù)品種交流與反饋的橋梁，沃爾德希望通過(guò)自身的努力能協(xié)助國(guó)內(nèi)育種達(dá)到良性的發(fā)展，促使未來(lái)有更多的中國(guó)植物新品種在國(guó)際市場(chǎng)上占有一席之地。

In January 2023, Wald organized 99 new plant varieties (species) to go abroad to participate in the IPM Essen held in Germany. In July 2024, Wald once again organized new domestic plant varieties to go abroad to participate in the 2024 Cultivate exhibition held in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Through face-to-face communication with foreign industry professionals at the exhibition, we can clearly feel the differences in variety interests between the European and North American markets, as well as the gap between domestic breeding achievements and mature commercial varieties in the international market and the huge potential for development. As a bridge for continuous variety exchanges and feedback at home and abroad, Wald hopes to assist domestic breeding to achieve healthy development through its own efforts, and promote more new Chinese plant varieties to occupy a place in the international market in the future.
